Forgive my asking. But is this is a haiku? I really like it!

Thank you for coming by. I am also still learning. I started off trying to write a tanka, which is made of 5-7, 5-7-7 syllables. But, I didn’t like the longer ending so I chopped it shorter. So I am not sure what it is now…😅 Glad you enjoyed it though. Have a good one.

It is nothing short of a beautiful tanka except the fact its been chopped. Wonderful free verse anyway!
