Clear drops from gray skies
fall on sun-soaked pregnant earth
raise lives in colors.
Leave puddles for li’l feet and
rainbow for all as a treat.

I like the light hearted feel of this poem. It’s autumn over here in Oz and the autumn rains have just arrived. By a strange coincidence they too bring colour back into our landscape. Everything had dried out to a brown dingy colour and the rain brings forth fresh shoots of green grass. Our skies are as grey as yours 🙂

It is still amazing to me how you are all the way in Australia, experiencing a different season altogether…but we can still connect through our blogs. Thank you for sharing what you are seeing on your side of the earth. I am always happy to hear what is happening in Oz. As for the poem, I have been wanting to write something less brooding. Thanks for stopping by and have a good one!

I’m not quite back yet, but we’re through most of the unpacking. Less than a week now. 🙂
